Monopropylene glycol USP/EP is the MPG grade that meets the strict product quality and handling standards. These standards are required by the authorities responsible for consumer health and safety of materials  used in health-sensitive applications, such as pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs, cosmetics and animal feed. These quality requirements are specifically described in the Pharmacopoeias, while handling requirements are prescribed in governmental regulation and industry guidelines.
